This is the closing workshop of the research project entitled "Integration and Competitiveness of Turkish Manufacturing and Service Sector Firms to the World Trade: Problems, Solutions and Policy Proposals" administered by Department of Economics of Anadolu University, Eskisehir, Turkey and funded by TUBITAK (the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). The workshop aims to provide a high-quality exchange platform for academic researchers and policy makers to share in-depth research and insights on competitiveness. The workshop program includes presentation of the outputs of the research project and presentations of contributed papers of the other researchers on similar topics. The workshop is open to all line of theoretical and empirical research on competitiveness. The sub-themes of the workshop include:
The workshop is going to be held in Istanbul, Turkey on March 21-22, 2019.
An abstract of not more than 200 words should be submitted by February 01, 2019. Abstracts should include 2-3 JEL codes and keywords of the research. Authors will receive a notification by e-mail about acceptance/rejection of their research within two weeks after submission. Authors/co-authors can not submit more than 2 papers. Registration to WoC2019 is free. Only the authors/co-authors of accepted papers can participate to the Workshop. The registration form to the workshop will be available by February 01, 2019.
We don't provide accommodation to the participants.
The participants can arrange their own accommodation at a place at/near Nippon Hotel.
The rate for the participants at Nippon Hotel is 60 EURO+VAT.
There will be coffee and refresments all day for two days. This will be free.
The lunches will be provided at Nippon hotel. Participants must pay for the lunch. Each lunch is 10EURO. 20EURO for two days.
There will also be dinner on the evening of March 21, 2019. The dinner is 20EURO per person.
